Despite the fact that I occasionally tear up at Extreme Home Makeover, I'm not generally given to sentimentality.
Having said that, I miss my friends.

I miss them too. I like our church here but I loved the church family there. Ankica asked me about my friends today. She asked if I was going to see my friends at school. I told her no, that my friends were in Georgia. She said, "Luke?" I said, "No, Mike and Kacie and Riah's mommy and daddy and Luke's mommy and daddy." She practically started jumping up and down when I said Mike and Kacie :-)
ReplyDeleteGosh, we miss the stew out of you all, too. I am internally delighted that you have moved closer to Tera's family but we really miss being having you in our lives daily. It would be nice to have you over for dinner at the drop of a hat, sing with the guitar again, laugh about big hair bands, pretend to play "Sweet Child of Mine" in worship, talk about udders on a cow, go to CiCi's, discuss theology in small group, and eat out on Sundays after church. Love to you all.
